White Lightning

Bryce washed his car today and since you haven't seen pictures (I know you've been dying) we thought we'd be considerate and share the beauty with you.

I guess I'll share the secret of what's in the FedEx box we're (still) waiting for.  The package is a Hypertech tuner (+67 horsepower, yes please!).  He's super excited because he's been wanting one and got it for a steal.  He already installed the intake from his old car, so this will just make it moar fast!

Love the white! Let us know what it feels like after it's been reprogrammed.

Well, I only found out they don't support the 2012 yet after trying to install it. I've called tech support and they say it's at least another month until they go into beta testing... until then it's just sitting on my floor. Lame.

That's a rip. You didn't have your old one reprogrammed did you? That extra HP should feel pretty sweet.

No, my old one wasn't reprogrammed at all, but I did finally get around to installing my turbo inlet pipe (TIP) this weekend. I only had the short ram intake (SRI) installed on my new car and I could tell a difference from my old car. After I put on the TIP it now feels more like my old car. Much more responsive and the turbo spools a lot faster.

After it gets reprogrammed it should feel a lot faster than my old car. I'm also looking at maybe getting a new cat-back exhaust since the factory one throws all kinds of black junk all over the back of the car. It's pretty ridiculous how bad it is and it doesn't help that the car is white.

I told them I'd participate in the beta testing, but they still need to find a test car. I think they're just being slackers because other tuners are already doing the 2012s.

On a side note they just came out with a tuner for the Nissan Juke... I'm sure Cecily would be really excited to make her car moar fast! Oh, and they're putting together a Juke-R with the GT-R engine in it. I'll send out some emails about it. Seems pretty insane.

Looks awesome! Too bad the go fast parts have to sit on the floor for now.
