Jamba's tail hit the spinning rattle on Dash's toy and she turned around to attack it.  It looks like she's boxing to me so it made me laugh.  Needs some Rocky music in the background.

This is from yesterday, so it was on the correct date.  I just didn't think about posting it until today.

Wrapping paper is too loud for Dash...a little frightening.  But he liked what was inside.

4th month

Recap of Dash's fourth month of life.

Got dressed up for a Christmas party.

we don't use the Bumbo a whole lot, so he always kind of looks surprised when he's in it.

He has some hair growing in...still not sure what color it is.
His eyelashes are getting long.
He sits up very well, with pretty good head control.
He's reaching and grabbing and trying to put everything in his mouth when his fingers aren't in there.
He grabs things, using his index and middle finger to hold them (instead of a thumb and index finger like everyone else)
Interacts with himself in the mirror.
Did his first deep laugh.
Enjoys baths, books, mirrors, slobbering, and eating.
Sometimes he likes tummy time, when he asks to be rolled over.
He can roll from his back onto his side and balance there.  Hasn't made it the whole way over yet.
Has learned that screaming and loud high-pitched noise is fun, both when happy and sad.  

3rd Month

Before I begin his 2nd month photos I finally got the videos working.  Here's one at 1-day old, in the hospital popping his mouth.

Grandma and Grandpa came from out of town for Dash's blessing and we've snagged a few shots of each other over the last few days.  Dash is getting plenty of attention I think.  :)

Grandma's been working hard upholstering two chairs and she took a break to put Dash to sleep - she took a quick nap with him too.

A Blessing

Dash was blessed Sunday, October 14, 2012.

We were grateful for those who are close enough to come and were able to celebrate with us.  

Dash was bored or really loved church and wanted to behave so we'd bring him back because he slept all 3 hours except for a few minutes when he ate.  

I'm not expecting this every week, but any repeats are welcome. ;)

Thanks to Grandma for making his blessing outfit.

Bryce did wonderful and it brought a little tear to my eye.  So proud of my boys.

Reminiscing Already

A few of my wannabe professional pictures of Dash.  He is 5 days old I think.

I'm surprised with how much he's grown in these 6 weeks.  After rediscovering these I've realized I need to take some recents.  

1 day old and the kid's got skills.

He can also toot like a grown man; with power and gumption. :)  I unfortunately do not have a video or sound bite of this yet.  If you meet him in person, I'm sure it won't be long until you experience it first hand.  

We sure are proud parents! haha
